Position Overview

RecruitGo is seeking a highly skilled systems administrator with expertise in Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI), Nutanix administration, Windows Server management, and advanced networking. The ideal candidate will ensure the security, reliability, and high performance of our mission-critical systems, supporting a rapidly growing retail client base. This role involves both strategic planning and hands-on administration, requiring deep technical expertise including hardware firewall high availability (HA), failover configurations, routing, NAT, and complex network appliance management.

Responsibilities:

Hyperconverged Infrastructure (Nutanix)

Install, configure, and maintain Nutanix clusters to ensure a stable, optimized virtual environment.
Monitor system performance, resource utilization (CPU, memory, storage), and overall cluster health.
Implement security best practices, including patch management and firmware updates.
Manage disaster recovery and backup strategies, ensuring high availability.
Act as the primary escalation point for Nutanix-related issues

Windows Server & Domain Administration

Plan, deploy, and maintain Windows Server infrastructure.
Manage Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, and user account administration.
Configure and maintain remote desktop services, including high-availability setups.
Implement and enforce security policies, patch management, and server hardening.
Act as the primary escalation point for Windows server-related issues.

Networking & Firewall Administration

Install, configure, and manage SonicWall firewalls, including high-availability and failover configurations.
Develop and enforce network policies, VPN configurations, and access controls.
Monitor and optimize network performance, ensuring minimal downtime.
Perform regular firmware updates and configuration reviews to maintain security and compliance.

IT Operations & Leadership

Administer infrastructure monitoring and automation tools, ensuring system reliability.
Maintain Disaster Recovery strategies and failover mechanisms.
Manage DNS records, security certificates, and domain renewals.
Oversee storage management, hardware replacements, and software deployments.
Provide technical leadership, training, and mentorship to junior IT team members

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure administration, with a focus on Nutanix HCI, Windows Server, and networking.
Strong expertise in Active Directory, Group Policy, security best practices, and high-availability configurations.
Advanced networking knowledge, including firewall security, failover setups, VPNs, and routing/NAT.
Experience with disaster recovery, backup solutions, and infrastructure monitoring.
Strong troubleshooting skills and a track record of mentoring junior IT team members.
Strong grasp of the English language and communication skills.

Nice to have:

Experience in the retail industry, such as working in or managing a retail store. This hands-on knowledge will enhance your credibility with clients.

Work Schedule: 40 hrs per week, 8 hrs per day; Mondays to Fridays. Pacific Time (U.S.): 2:00 AM – 10:30 AM. Philippines: 6:00 PM – 2:30 AM
