Position Overview

RecruitGo is looking for a looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Payroll Assistant to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll for a portfolio of clients — including both Philippine-based and global accounts. You’ll ensure compliance with statutory requirements, maintain employee records, and work closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver high-quality payroll services.

Responsibilities: 

  • Prepare and process monthly payroll in accordance with client timelines, service agreements, and internal SOPs.
  • Review reconciliation reports and coordinate with Finance for statutory reports and other related tasks.
  • Supervise payroll disbursements and ensure payslips are accurately distributed.
  • Prepare annual tax computations and handle BIR Form 2316 for resigned employees.
  • Manage submission of monthly statutory contributions and remittances (SSS, Pag-IBIG, PhilHealth).
  • Handle payroll-related inquiries from employees or clients, including basic HR-related concerns.
  • Coordinate directly with clients on end-to-end payroll implementation and issue resolution.
  • Identify process improvements to enhance payroll accuracy and efficiency.
  • Perform other payroll-related tasks as assigned.
 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in payroll processing, preferably within a shared services or multi-client setup.
  • Solid knowledge of Philippine labor laws and statutory requirements; experience in global payroll is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets and payroll software applications.
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills and a high level of professionalism and discretion.

  • Work Set up: Hybrid - (At least 1-3 days per week onsite in the office at 10th Flr. Cyberone Building, Eastwood Ave., Quezon City. May change anytime)
  • Projected Start Date: January 1, 2026 – December 2026
  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday; 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM PHT
