Assistant Auditor
Position Overview
RecruitGo is seeking an Assistant Auditor to join our team. In this role, you will assist with planning and executing risk-based audits for employee benefit plans, such as 401(k) and pension plans, for our diverse clientele. You will work closely with senior auditors to ensure the accuracy and compliance of financial statements, internal controls, and operating practices. Responsibilities:
- Compliance and Audit Testing: Assist in assessing compliance with various regulations and audit requirements by executing audit steps, including testing general ledger entries, account balances, balance sheets, income statements, and related financial documents.
- Documentation: Complete audit work papers and memoranda, documenting audit tests and findings in accordance with professional standards.
- Audit Progress and Communication: Communicate audit progress and findings through status meetings, highlight unresolved issues, and review working papers to ensure thorough documentation.
- Team Collaboration: Contribute to team results by welcoming new and evolving work requirements, exploring opportunities to add value to the organization, and supporting colleagues in achieving shared goals.
Requirements:
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) and document management software.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively, working under deadlines.
- Previous experience in a similar audit or accounting role is a plus but not required.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

- Salary: 25,000 - 35,000 Php
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday; 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM with 1 hour lunch break
- Work Set up: Onsite - 2249 Chino Roces Ave. Makati, Manila, Philippines.
