Position Overview

RecruitGo is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong accounting foundation, excellent reconciliation skills, and a track record in BPO environments, especially in month-end closing.

Responsibilities:

• Perform standard bookkeeping and month-end closing tasks in a timely and accurate manner
• Process bank transactions and reconciliations using QuickBooks and Xero
• Reconcile other balance sheet accounts (prepaids, accruals, fixed assets, etc.)
• Process and record bills, invoices, and accruals
• Prepare and post adjusting journal entries
• Perform amortization and reconciliation of prepaids and fixed assets
• Review financial statements for accuracy and completeness
• Identify and suggest process improvements
• Other accounting-related tasks as required

Requirements: 

• 5+ years of end-to-end accounting and monthly closing experience
• 1+ year in a supervisory or senior-level accounting role
• Strong background in BPO/shared services, particularly with US clients
• Willingness and ability to work night shifts
• Solid proficiency with Excel and ability to work across multiple accounting platforms
• Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Exceptional attention to detail, analytical mindset, and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written English communication
• Strong project management skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to document, follow, and improve procedures
   

Nice-to-Haves

• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks and/or Xero
• Experience leading or mentoring junior team members
• Familiarity with accounting in multi-client or multi-entity setups

• Salary: 50,000 - 70,000 Php
• Work Set up: Remote
• Work Schedule: Mondays to Fridays; 5:00 PM - 2:00 AM Philippine time
