QA Tester

Position Overview

RecruitGo is looking for an experienced QA Tester who will be in responsible to ensures the quality and reliability of software applications by identifying and resolving issues before they reach end-users. This role involves planning, analysing, and executing tests to validate software functionality, performance, and usability. 
The QA Tester collaborates with development teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to maintain high-quality standards and ensure a seamless user experience. 

Responsibilities:
1.Testing and Validation: 

• Analyze product requirements and specifications to develop test plans and strategies.
• Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for IoT and GPS-based systems.
• Identify test cases, scenarios, and coverage areas to ensure comprehensive testing.
• Prioritize and plan testing efforts based on project timelines and risk analysis.

• Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Execute both manual and automated test cases to validate application features.
• Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools (JIRA)    

• Create and maintain automated test scripts for repetitive and complex test cases.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Appium.
• Ensure test automation coverage aligns with project goals and requirements.

• Create and share detailed test reports and metrics with stakeholders.
• Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA.
• Communicate issues and potential risks to developers and product teams.
• Collaborate to resolve bugs and improve application performance.
• Work closely with developers to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner.
• Ensure testing aligns with industry best practices and organizational standards.
• Create detailed test reports, including test coverage, defects, and performance metrics.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of test results and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Certifications (Preferred) ISTQB Foundation or Advanced Level Certification.

Employment Type  - Full-time 

Employment Status - PKWTT - Can be permanent employment which is subject to 3 months probationary period
