RecruitGo is in search of a Paralegal who will be responsible for providing legal support to our law firm, assisting with research, documentation, and case preparation. This role focuses on supporting attorneys by conducting legal research, drafting documents, managing files, and coordinating with clients. The Paralegal will be measured on their ability to effectively manage case-related tasks, meet deadlines, and contribute to the overall efficiency of the legal team.
We seek someone innovative, empathetic, community-oriented, adaptable, and flexible. You should have great attention to detail, be a self-starter, and possess excellent communication skills in both written and verbal English.
Responsibilities:
- Data input in case management software (Leap) for new clients.
- Data input in document creation software (Wealthdocs & Elderdocs) for document creation.
- Select clauses for document creation consistent with client design sheet, dictated memo, and desired result.
- Addition of custom clauses in Wealthdocs and Elderdocs document creation software.
- Input of financial information provided by clients into financial analysis software (Asset+Map, RightCapital, Nitrogen, Riskalyze)
- Draft opening and closing documents for Probate, Guardianships, Conservatorships and other case types under attorney supervision.
- Draft deeds and certificates of trust.
- Electronically file deeds and certificates of trusts.
- Speak English Speaking; Work US hours; reliable internet; quiet and private work environment
- Fluent in English sufficient to interact directly with courts and clients by phone or zoom calls; ability to have client triage conversations
