Head of Operations
Position Overview
Emerhub Thailand is currently looking for the Head of Operations who will be responsible for leading and managing the overall operations of the delivery department. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership and operational expertise to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and customer-centric service delivery.
To succeed in this role, you will need proven experience in operations management, preferably in the logistics or delivery industry. Strong leadership and team management skills, along with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, are essential. A strong financial acumen and proficiency in operational software are also required.
Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and manage the delivery team, including supervisors and delivery staff.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment, encouraging teamwork and professional development.
- Set performance goals, conduct regular performance reviews, and implement training programs as needed.
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to optimize delivery operations and align with the company’s objectives.
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to enhance service offerings and operational efficiency.
Operational Efficiency:
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring that delivery processes are streamlined and effective.
- Implement and refine procedures and best practices to improve delivery times, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
Cost Management:
- Develop and manage the budget for the delivery department, ensuring cost control and financial efficiency.
- Monitor expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and manage resource allocation effectively.
Customer Focus:
- Ensure that delivery services meet or exceed customer expectations and address any service-related issues promptly.
- Implement and maintain high standards for customer service and satisfaction.
Performance Monitoring:
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to assess the effectiveness of delivery processes.
- Use data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement and achieve operational targets.
Technology and Innovation:
- Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements related to delivery and logistics.
- Integrate new technologies and tools to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure all delivery operations comply with relevant regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Promote and enforce a culture of safety and regulatory compliance within the team.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders, including senior management and other departments.
- Build and maintain relationships with external partners, suppliers, and vendors to support operational needs.
Project Management:
- Oversee and manage key projects within the delivery department, ensuring successful implementation and alignment with business goals.
Requirements:
- A Master's degree in Legal, business administration or a closely related field is required.
- CRM and technology savvy. Expert in the use of digital tools and technologies to explore creative ideas and new ways of displaying ideas and research.
- Must have at least 5-7 years of relevant work experience in a multinational corporation, preferably abroad.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills in English.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects. simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Ready to work in our office in Bangkok, Thailand.
