Position Overview
RecruitGo is looking for a Data Engineer who is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data solutions that leverage the power of Snowflake to drive business insights. Responsibilities include working with client data to transform, clean and verify to prepare it for use in data products as well as ensuring data model consistency, maintainability, and performance.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement data quality checks and validation procedures to ensure data accuracy and integrity within Snowflake.
- Translate business requirements into effective Snowflake data models.
- Document data models and their lineage using appropriate tools and methodologies.
- Identify and implement data model optimizations to improve query performance, reduce storage costs, and enhance data accessibility.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Integration Engineers, Data Analysts, Data Quality Administrators, and internal stakeholders to understand data requirements.
- Monitor data model performance and optimize data storage, processing, and retrieval within Snowflake for high performance and scalability.
- Implement and maintain data security and privacy controls within the Snowflake environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues within the Snowflake platform.
Requirements:
- Deep understanding of Snowflake's architecture, data modeling concepts, and best practices.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and scripting languages (e.g., Python) for data manipulation and automation within the Snowflake environment.
- Experience with data warehousing and data lake concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
1. Business Acumen: Basic knowledge of financial concepts (e.g., revenue, cost, margin).
2. API Experience: Familiarity with APIs and their use in data integration and processing.

- Salary: 90,000 - 140,000 Php
- Work Set up: Remote; Must be available for check-in meetings between 9-11 am EST, and flexible to accommodate the company based in EST.
