Position Overview

RecruitGo is seeking an experienced and strategic Accounting Manager to join our finance leadership team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, planning, reporting, and compliance. This role offers the opportunity to support senior management with key financial decisions and contribute to the company’s financial health and integrity.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in compliance with Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards (PSAK) and international standards.
  • Manage international payment processes with suppliers/vendors.
  • Ensure proper cash flow management, liquidity, and working capital to support company operations and strategic initiatives.
  • Coordinate tax compliance, ensuring timely and accurate preparation and submission of tax returns (VAT, corporate income tax, etc.).
  • Provide strategic insights on profitability, cost management, capital expenditure, and other financial matters.
  • Lead the annual audit process, collaborating with external auditors to address audit findings.
  • Work closely with operations to ensure accurate inventory valuation and costing, including reviewing reconciliations and implementing controls.
  • Establish and monitor financial controls and policies to protect company assets and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage finance staff, promoting professional development and fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Evaluate and implement improvements to accounting systems, processes, and reporting procedures for greater efficiency and accuracy.
  • Contribute to the company’s long-term financial strategy, supporting overall business goals.

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications (CPA, CFA, or equivalent) are a plus.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in financial management, with at least 2 years in a managerial role overseeing financial reporting and compliance.
  • Experience in the retail and manufacturing industries is a plus, with an understanding of cost accounting for manufacturing operations.
  • Strong knowledge of Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards (PSAK) and tax regulations.
  • Proven financial leadership, strategic planning, and decision-making experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial management software (Xero, Shopify, Cin7 preferred) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
  • Proficient in both English and Bahasa Indonesia, written and verbal.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Experience managing audits, tax compliance, and financial strategy development.
